GoHighLevel pricing is $97 a month for Starter (3 sub-accounts), $297 a month for Unlimited and $497 a month for Agency Pro, with a 14-day trial on all three. Paying yearly costs ten months for twelve: $970, $2,970 or $4,970. Every plan includes unlimited contacts and unlimited users.
What the plan price leaves out is the phone bill. Through LC Phone, HighLevel charges $0.00747 per text segment sent or received in the US, and the recipient's carrier adds $0.0035 to $0.0050 per outbound text, so one outbound text costs about 1.1 to 1.25 cents. A local number is $1.15 a month, a calling minute about 1.2 to 1.7 cents, and A2P 10DLC registration $22.50 to $64 once plus a monthly campaign fee. The AI Employee is a separate $50 or $97 a month per sub-account.

What you get
Everything one AI agent handles
One outbound text costs about 1.1 to 1.25 cents
The $0.00747 segment rate is only HighLevel's part. The recipient's carrier adds its own fee, from $0.0035 on AT&T to $0.0050 on Verizon. So 1,000 single-segment texts cost about $10.97 if every recipient is on AT&T and about $12.47 if every one is on Verizon. A real list is a mix, so budget near the middle.
Replies are billed too
Inbound texts carry the same $0.00747 segment rate plus an inbound carrier fee of $0.0025 to $0.0100. A reply from a US Cellular customer costs $0.01747, more than the text you sent. In a two-way conversation the customer's side of the thread is roughly half the bill, which most estimates leave out.
What 1,000 text conversations a month cost
Our worked example: 1,000 conversations a month, each three single-segment texts out and three back. If every recipient is on AT&T, that is $65.82 in texting; if every one is on Verizon, $80.82. Add a $1.15 number and a low-volume campaign fee of up to $10.50, and telecom alone runs about $68 to $93 a month.
An emoji can double the bill
A segment holds 160 plain characters but only 70 once the text contains an emoji or a curly quote pasted from a document. A 150-character reminder with one emoji becomes three segments instead of one, which triples its cost. Keep automated templates in plain characters and under 160.
Annual billing is ten months for twelve
Every HighLevel plan prices the year at ten times the month: $970 instead of $1,164, $2,970 instead of $3,564, $4,970 instead of $5,964. The saving is $194, $594 or $994 a year, about 16.7%. It covers the plan only. Texts, calls, numbers and AI are billed on usage either way.
Rebilling adds 5% on pass-through fees
HighLevel's phone guide says carrier fees and A2P registration fees carry a fixed 5% markup at the sub-account level when rebilling is turned on, and no markup when it is off. Its example takes a $10.00 carrier fee to $10.50, and to $21.00 with a 2x agency multiplier on top. Agencies should model both numbers.
Where GoHighLevel is the better buy
If you want a CRM, funnels, websites, email marketing, reputation tools and courses under one login, $97 to $297 a month is hard to beat, and the platform has no per-user or per-contact fee. For an agency running many client accounts, the Unlimited plan and white label options are the core of the business.
Where a messaging agent is simpler
If what you need is an AI that answers texts, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook DMs and web chat, qualifies the lead and books it, HighLevel Starter plus AI Employee Unlimited is $194 a month before telecom. MessageAgent Growth is $199 a month with the AI, all six channels and 10 handoff seats in the plan, carrier fees passed through at cost.

Common questions
GoHighLevel pricing questions
How much does GoHighLevel cost per month?
GoHighLevel costs $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, according to gohighlevel.com on 25 October 2026. Yearly billing is $970, $2,970 or $4,970. Texts, calls, phone numbers, A2P registration and AI usage are billed on top, so a business that texts customers pays more than the plan price every month.
How much does GoHighLevel charge per text?
HighLevel charges $0.00747 per SMS segment sent or received in the US through LC Phone, which is 10% off a $0.0083 list rate. The recipient's carrier then adds $0.0035 to $0.0050 per outbound text, so one plain outbound text costs about $0.011 to $0.0125. Inbound replies cost $0.00997 to $0.01747 with carrier fees.
How much is a phone number on GoHighLevel?
A US local number costs $1.15 a month and a toll-free number $2.15 a month on LC Phone, after the 10% discount HighLevel gives on US and Canada numbers. Each sub-account that texts or calls needs at least one number, and texting from it also requires A2P 10DLC registration.
What are the A2P 10DLC fees on GoHighLevel?
Registration is $22.50 one time for a sole proprietor or low-volume brand and $64.00 for high volume, both including a non-refundable $3 Fast Track fee. The monthly campaign fee is up to $2.10 for a sole proprietor, $1.50 to $10.50 for low volume and $10.50 for high volume. HighLevel says these fees are set by The Campaign Registry and carriers.
Is SMS included in the GoHighLevel subscription?
No. The pricing page marks Email and SMS Marketing and inbound and outbound calling with an asterisk that reads "usage based charges apply." The plan gives you the texting tools, and every segment, carrier fee, number and registration fee is billed separately through LC Phone or your own Twilio account.
Is there a free version of GoHighLevel?
No permanent free plan is listed. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial, after which Starter is $97 a month. Usage charges for texts and calls apply during the trial too if you send real messages, so register A2P and budget for telecom before you launch a campaign.
What is the difference between the $97 and $297 GoHighLevel plans?
Starter at $97 includes 3 sub-accounts; Unlimited at $297 removes that cap and adds rebilling of phone and email costs to clients and basic API access. A single business rarely needs Unlimited. An agency with more than three clients does, and the $200 difference is the price of the fourth sub-account onward.
Does GoHighLevel charge per user or per contact?
No. Every plan includes unlimited contacts and unlimited users, which HighLevel advertises as no tax on growth. Several add-ons are billed per sub-account instead: AI Employee $50 or $97, WhatsApp $10, listings $30, SEO $79 and the branded client portal $49, so the account count is what multiplies.
How much does GoHighLevel cost for an agency with 10 clients?
On the Unlimited plan, $297 a month, plus $970 a month if all 10 clients get AI Employee Unlimited ($97 each), so $1,267 before telecom. Each client also needs a number ($1.15), a campaign fee (up to $10.50) and pays per text and minute. With rebilling on, you can pass those usage costs to clients.
Why do websites list different GoHighLevel prices?
Because names and rates changed. Older guides label $297 as Agency Pro and $497 as Agency Unlimited or SaaS Pro, and quote $0.0079 per text. On 25 October 2026 the plans are Starter $97, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497, and the LC Phone segment rate is $0.00747 before carrier fees.
Can I use MessageAgent instead of GoHighLevel for AI texting?
Yes, if messaging is the job. MessageAgent Growth costs $199 a month and answers SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, web chat and email with one AI, qualifies the lead, books it and hands off to your team, with carrier and Meta fees passed through at cost. If you also need funnels, websites and email marketing, HighLevel covers more.
