Mindbody pricing starts at $79 a month per location in the US, the price of its Starter plan, and that is the only plan price Mindbody publishes. Accelerate and Ultimate show Let's talk. Mindbody's FAQ calls $79 a new, lower price, which is why older guides still quote $99 or more.
On top of the plan you pay card processing at a rate Mindbody sets during the demo, plus a fixed $0.10 to $0.30 per transaction, and a 20% fee, capped at $30, on the first purchase of each new client the Mindbody app sends you. There is no onboarding fee and no charge for extra staff users. The AI Concierge front desk is included only on Ultimate and sold as an add-on on Accelerate, so the AI is never on the $79 plan.

The pricing page shows Let's talk on all three plan cards. The $79 figure sits in the FAQ and in Mindbody's own pricing article, where it is called a new, lower price for North America and Asia. Guides that list Starter at $99 to $159 describe the old price, so check the date on anything you read.
The app fee can cost more than the plan
Mindbody takes 20% of a new client's first purchase, capped at $30, when the client came from the Mindbody app. Fifteen app clients a month buying a $99 intro pack cost $297 in fees. If they buy a $150 membership or more, it is the full $30 each, $450 a month, almost six times the $79 plan.
The AI starts above the published plan
AI Concierge, Mindbody's 24/7 front desk that answers questions and missed calls, is marked as not available on Starter, an add-on on Accelerate and included on Ultimate. Neither of those plans has a price, so a studio cannot find the cost of Mindbody's AI without a sales call.
Text reminders are an Accelerate feature
Every plan sends unlimited email confirmations and reminders. Text confirmations and reminders start on Accelerate, and automated email and text marketing with a monthly text bundle is an Ultimate feature. If your clients ignore email, that is the line that moves you off the $79 plan.
Per location, never per seat
Mindbody charges by location and includes unlimited staff users, which is cheaper than per-staff pricing once a studio has more than one instructor. WellnessLiving, for comparison, caps its $69 Starter at one staff member and moves a team to its $199 Business plan.
Where Mindbody wins
No other studio platform has a consumer marketplace of its size: Mindbody says 3M+ people browse its app each month. You also get a done-for-you website on the $79 plan, unlimited staff and no onboarding fee. For a yoga, Pilates or barre studio that wants new clients from the app, that is real value.
Where an AI agent fits next to it

The published monthly price is $79 per location for Starter. A studio with two locations pays $158 and one with five pays $395 before processing. Accelerate and Ultimate cost more, but Mindbody does not print those prices, so the monthly figure for either one comes only from a sales quote.
How much is Mindbody Ultimate?
Mindbody does not publish an Ultimate price. The pricing page shows Let's talk on the Ultimate card. Ultimate is the plan that includes AI Concierge, automated email and text campaigns, a monthly text bundle and the lead pipeline, so a studio that wants those features has to request a quote.
Does Mindbody charge per user or per staff member?
No. Mindbody includes unlimited staff users per location on every plan and raises the price only when you add a location. That makes it cheaper than per-staff platforms once a studio has two or more instructors, and more expensive than a one-person tool for a solo practitioner.
What is the Mindbody app fee?
Mindbody charges 20% of a new client's first purchase, capped at $30, when that client found you through the Mindbody app. Existing clients, tracked referral links and clients who say they found you elsewhere carry no fee, and every booking after the first is commission-free. The cap applies from a $150 first purchase.
Does Mindbody have a setup fee?
No. Mindbody says there is no onboarding fee on any plan and that every customer gets one-on-one setup sessions. Premium implementation, custom data conversion and technical account management are priced separately, but those are optional services for larger operators.
What are Mindbody processing fees?
Mindbody does not publish its percentage. Its own article says processing rates are customized by transaction volume and payment mix and provided during the demo, and its FAQ adds a fixed fee of $0.10 to $0.30 per transaction in North America. Mindbody Payments is optional, so you can keep your own processor.
Why do websites list different Mindbody prices?
Because the price changed and it varies by region. Mindbody now prints $79 a month for North America and Asia and calls it a new, lower price, while guides written earlier quote $99 to $159 for Starter. From an EU connection the same page shows 99 euros. Always check the date and currency.
Does Mindbody have an AI receptionist?
Yes, AI Concierge, which answers client questions, responds to missed calls and handles bookings. On the pricing grid it is not available on Starter, an add-on on Accelerate and included on Ultimate. Mindbody publishes no price for either route, so you need a quote to know what the AI costs.
Is Mindbody worth it for a small studio?
