Front pricing has two halves. The seats are published: Starter $25, Professional $65 and Enterprise $105 per seat a month billed yearly, or $35 and $85 month to month, with Enterprise sold yearly only. The AI is metered on top: Autopilot charges $0.05 when it triages a conversation, $0.39 when it drafts and hands off, and $0.89 when it resolves one, once per conversation at the highest outcome.
A 10-agent team on Professional with Copilot and Autopilot handling 3,000 conversations a month pays about $2,314 a month on yearly billing. The table below prices every line, shows where the seat caps at 10 and 50 force an upgrade, and puts a flat AI agent next to it for comparison.

What you get
Everything one AI agent handles
Three seat prices, two billing cycles
Billed yearly, Front charges $25 a seat on Starter, $65 on Professional and $105 on Enterprise. Month to month the first two become $35 and $85, and Enterprise is not sold monthly at all. The page badge says "Save 24%", which is right for Professional (23.5%) but understates Starter, where yearly billing saves 28.6%.
Seat caps at 10 and 50
Starter stops at 10 seats and Professional at 50, and plans apply to the whole organization, so you cannot mix them. Hiring an 11th agent moves a $250 Starter bill to $715 on Professional, almost three times as much. The 51st agent moves a $3,250 Professional bill to $5,355 on Enterprise.
Starter is one channel type
Starter connects email, Front Chat or SMS, but only one type, with up to 10 channels per license. Omnichannel, social, WhatsApp and up to 5 workspaces start on Professional at 30 channels per license. Enterprise lifts that to 50 per license and unlimited workspaces, rules and macros.
Autopilot is billed by outcome
Every conversation Autopilot touches is charged once, at the highest level it reached: $0.05 for triage, $0.39 for a draft or action handed to a person, $0.89 for a resolution. A resolution means no teammate follow-up within 24 hours on chat, SMS and WhatsApp, or 72 hours on email and the portal. Technical failures on Front side are not charged.
Copilot or Enterprise
Copilot costs $20 a seat on Starter and Professional, which puts Professional with Copilot at $85 a seat yearly. Enterprise is $105 with Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT included, plus smart rules, custom roles and a multi-language knowledge base. If you want QA and CSAT, the $20 gap usually favors Enterprise.
The $25,000 onboarding line
Front requires an onboarding package on contracts over $25,000 and does not print its price on the pricing page. On seats alone you cross that line at 33 Professional seats yearly ($25,740) or 20 Enterprise seats ($25,200). Budget for it before you sign at that size. Wire or ACH payment opens on yearly contracts over $12,000, which is 16 Professional seats.
Trials, and what they include
The Front trial runs 14 days with every Professional feature and needs no credit card. Autopilot has its own 30-day trial with all automation types and up to 1,000 resolutions. If you do not opt in to paid Autopilot when it ends, its rules, playbooks and Resolve channels stop running.
WhatsApp and SMS cost extra
Native WhatsApp is an add-on on Professional and Enterprise, billed as your Meta charges plus a 20 percent admin fee, so $500 of Meta fees becomes $600. SMS runs through third-party providers such as Twilio or Dialpad, so carrier fees come on a separate bill from your SMS provider.
Where Front wins, and where a flat AI agent does
Front is a strong choice for an email-heavy B2B team that works customer threads together: shared inboxes, internal comments, assignments, Slack, guest accounts and a mature API. If what you need is an AI that answers, qualifies and books across SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, web chat and email at a fixed monthly price, MessageAgent Growth is $199 with 5,000 AI conversations included. At $0.89 each, 224 Autopilot resolutions already cost more than that.

Common questions
Front pricing questions
How much does Front cost?
Front costs $25 per seat a month on Starter, $65 on Professional and $105 on Enterprise when billed yearly, according to front.com/pricing on 12 October 2026. Month to month, Starter is $35 and Professional $85; Enterprise is yearly only. Autopilot AI, Copilot on the lower plans and native WhatsApp are billed on top of the seats.
What are the Front pricing plans?
There are three: Starter for up to 10 seats and one channel type, Professional for up to 50 seats with omnichannel, macros, 20 rules, SSO and SCIM, and Enterprise with unlimited seats, rules and workspaces, custom roles, and Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT included. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial.
Does Front offer monthly pricing?
Yes, on two plans. The pricing page shows yearly prices by default, and its toggle reveals $35 a seat for Starter and $85 for Professional month to month. Enterprise shows "Only available on annual", so it cannot be bought monthly. Yearly billing saves 28.6% on Starter and 23.5% on Professional.
How much does Front Autopilot cost?
Front Autopilot is pay as you go and billed by outcome: $0.05 per conversation it triages, $0.39 per conversation it drafts or acts on before handing to your team, and $0.89 per conversation it resolves. Each conversation is charged once, at the highest outcome. It is invoiced monthly on actual usage, and prepaid commitments buy volume discounts.
What counts as a resolution in Front Autopilot?
A conversation counts as resolved when Autopilot replies and no teammate follows up within 24 hours on Resolve, SMS, WhatsApp and custom channels, or within 72 hours on email and the customer portal. Note the test is about your teammates, not the customer, so a customer who simply goes quiet is billed as a $0.89 resolution.
How much is Front Copilot?
Copilot is $20 per seat a month as an add-on on Starter and Professional and is included in Enterprise. It surfaces account signals, plans next steps and drafts replies for your agents. Basic AI features, Compose, Translate and Summarize, are on every plan with a limit of 200 uses per teammate per day each.
Is there a free version of Front?
No. Front has no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial with all Professional features and no credit card required, and a separate 30-day Autopilot trial with up to 1,000 resolutions. Guest accounts, which let colleagues comment on a conversation without a license, are free on every plan.
How much does Front cost for 10 users?
For 10 users billed yearly, Front costs $250 a month on Starter, $650 on Professional and $1,050 on Enterprise. Month to month it is $350 on Starter and $850 on Professional. Add $200 for Copilot on Professional and your Autopilot usage, about $1,464 at 3,000 conversations a month in our example.
What happens when I add an 11th user on Front Starter?
You have to move the whole organization to Professional, because Starter is capped at 10 seats and Front does not mix plans. Billed yearly, that takes the bill from $250 for 10 Starter seats to $715 for 11 Professional seats. It also unlocks omnichannel, so it is the right moment to add chat or WhatsApp.
Does Front charge for WhatsApp?
Yes. Native WhatsApp is a paid add-on on Professional and Enterprise, billed as your monthly WhatsApp charges from Meta plus a 20 percent admin fee. It is not available on Starter. MessageAgent passes Meta and carrier fees through at cost, so the same $500 of Meta fees stays $500.
Can I pay Front by ACH or wire transfer?
Only on yearly contracts worth more than $12,000; otherwise Front bills a card. On seats alone, that is 16 Professional seats ($12,480 a year) or 10 Enterprise seats ($12,600). Contracts over $25,000 also require one of Front paid onboarding packages, whose prices are not on the pricing page.
Is Front worth the price?
For a B2B team that collaborates on email threads every day, often yes: Front shared inbox, comments and assignment are among the best available. For a team that wants an AI to answer, qualify and book across text, WhatsApp, Instagram and web chat, a flat AI agent is cheaper, because Autopilot resolutions alone pass $199 a month at 224 resolutions.
