Refund Policy
In effect from October 14, 2026
Your MessageAgent subscription pays for an agent that is on duty around the clock, so what you pay for a period is not handed back once collected. The section "When money goes back" names the three exceptions, and each one has to be confirmed by our records. These rules belong to our Terms of Service.
Conversations, leads and bookings do not change the fee
From the first minute of a period your agent replies, qualifies leads, books appointments and hands chats to your team on every channel you have linked, up to the conversation limits and features of your plan on the pricing page. A slow week costs the same as a flooded one, and none of these lead to money back:
- the agent brought in fewer chats, leads or bookings than you hoped, or sales stayed flat,
- an answer matched the knowledge base, tone or hand-off rules you configured, even if you would word them differently today,
- a messaging platform suspended, throttled or delayed your number, page or business account, or turned down a template,
- carrier and platform message fees, which go to those providers at cost,
- no channel was ever connected, or you stayed well below your conversation limit,
- a renewal cleared after the card had been declined once or more,
- you thought it was a single purchase, though pricing, checkout, the receipt email and the billing page all describe automatic renewal,
- the renewal date passed before you cancelled, or you cancelled straight after,
- a channel or feature you wanted is not listed for your plan,
- the plan or the monthly versus annual option was not the right one,
- a teammate or anyone with your login edited the agent or sent messages,
- part of the period is left after cancelling; the agent keeps running until the paid period ends and nothing is pro-rated.
Try the demo first to see how the agent handles a conversation.
When money goes back
- Duplicate charge. Our billing collected twice for one period.
- A payment you never made. Somebody used your card, you report it at the latest 14 days after the charge, and the account history and payment data agree. Those records, checked with our payment operator, decide the case rather than the report alone, and we may ask for confirmation that your card issuer has been told.
- The agent went silent everywhere. Because of a fault we confirm on our side, MessageAgent answered no conversations on any channel for an uninterrupted stretch, you contacted us during it, and we could not get it running again. Slower replies, a single undelivered message, one channel down at its own provider, or problems with your device or network do not count.
Approved money goes back to the card that was charged, never more than the price of the affected period, and that fully settles our liability for the charge. No further refund follows from it.
Asking us
Refund requests go to [email protected]. Send yours from the email you log in to MessageAgent with, while the charge is no more than 14 days old, and include its date, its amount and the exception you are relying on. Late requests, and ones from addresses we cannot tie to an account, are not reviewed. We go through them in order of arrival and a declined request is final.
If you dispute a MessageAgent charge with your bank before writing to us, that breaches our Terms of Service and the account is shut for good.
Turning off renewal
Cancel on the billing page of your account whenever you choose; no message to us is needed. All future renewals are switched off at once, and the agent keeps answering until the period you paid for is over. Cancelling does not count as asking for a refund.
The renewal date on your billing page is when the next period opens and becomes payable. A declined card is retried by our payment operator over the next several days on that single invoice, without creating an extra charge. Cancelling during those retries only affects renewals after them; the period already under way stays payable and is kept, even if the money arrives a few days late.
Immediate start
Paying for a plan tells us to put your agent to work right away. If a legal cooling-off period or right to withdraw would otherwise cover the purchase, you agree that it lapses as soon as the agent is live.
What we keep on record
Opening an account binds you to our Terms of Service, this refund page included, and our Privacy Policy. Before payment, checkout names the plan, price, billing period and automatic renewal, and the receipt email repeats them.
Per subscription we hold the time of purchase, the plan and price at checkout, your agreement to the terms, the emails and renewal notices we sent, and the account log of sign-ins, linked channels, agent setting changes and handled conversations, each with technical details. Our payment operator holds its own record of each charge showing the card's issuing country, the payment's origin and the 3D Secure result. We weigh refund requests and disputes against all of this, and hand it to the card issuer when a chargeback is filed.
Plans bought before October 14, 2026
Those keep the refund terms published on the day they were bought.
