Birdeye does not publish a price. We read birdeye.com/pricing first-hand on 2 September 2026, from a United States connection, and counted zero dollar figures across the entire page. There are no plan names, no tiers, no per-user rate and no starting-from figure. The only dollar amounts anywhere on it belong to customer testimonials, where operators describe revenue they attribute to the product. If you arrived here looking for a number to put in a budget, Birdeye has not given you one, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.

What Birdeye publishes instead is a headline and a form. The headline reads: pricing built around outcomes, not seat counts, one platform, one contract, replace point products and pay only for what you deploy at your locations. Below it sits a short quote form with two inputs. The first is a dropdown asking how many locations you run, offering six bands: 1 to 3, 4 to 9, 10 to 39, 40 to 249, 250 to 999, and 1000 or more. The second asks for the best mobile number to reach you. Then a button marked Get Pricing. Note what is not there. Birdeye does not ask for your email, your industry or your company name before it will talk price. It asks how big you are and how to phone you.

That form is the most useful thing on the page, because it tells you how Birdeye thinks about your account. The billing unit is the location, not the seat and not the conversation. A five-location dental group and a five-location HVAC company sit in the same band, and a single practice is priced in the same bracket as a three-site operator. It also tells you the sales motion is a phone call. There is no self-serve checkout, no free trial button and no published trial length. Budget for a conversation before you budget for the software, and go into it knowing the two things Birdeye's own page commits to: one contract, and modular scope where you pay for what you actually switch on.

Side by side

Everything Birdeye publishes about its pricing, and everything it does not

Read first-hand from birdeye.com/pricing on 2 September 2026, served to a United States visitor. The page returned HTTP 200 and roughly 6,000 characters of text containing zero plan prices. This table records what is actually printed rather than figures repeated in third-party listicles.

What a buyer needs What Birdeye publishes What to do about it
Plan prices None. Zero dollar figures on the page other than customer testimonials Get the rate in writing before you evaluate. There is no list price to check a quote against
Plan or tier names None. No named tiers appear on the pricing page at all Ask which modules your quote covers, by name, since scope is what varies
Billing unit The location. The form asks only how many locations you run Confirm what counts as a location, and the rate for adding one mid-contract
How you are sized Six bands: 1 to 3, 4 to 9, 10 to 39, 40 to 249, 250 to 999, 1000 or more If you sit near the top of a band, ask what the next band down would have cost
What the quote form requires Location band and best mobile number to reach you Expect a phone call, not an emailed price sheet
Free trial None published. No trial button on the pricing page Ask for a pilot at one or two locations before a multi-site commitment
Self-serve checkout None. Every path routes to Get Pricing or Watch a Demo Build sales-cycle time into your rollout plan
Contract shape Stated as one platform, one contract Ask the term length and the renewal uplift, both of which are unpublished
Usage meters None published. No per-review, per-message or per-conversation rate appears Ask explicitly whether SMS, email volume or AI usage is metered on top
Reseller and partner rates A separate Contact Us path exists. No rates published Agencies should ask for the partner sheet rather than the direct quote
MessageAgent (planned, not yet on sale) Flat $79, $199 or $499 per month, published up front, no location multiplier Carrier and Meta fees passed through at cost. Join the waitlist

The single most important line here is the billing unit. Birdeye prices per location, which is unusual in this comparison set: Zendesk, Freshdesk and Kustomer price per seat, Gorgias and Tidio price per conversation, GoHighLevel prices per sub-account and Thryv prices per plan. A per-location model is kind to a business with many staff at one site and expensive for a business with few staff at many sites. Work out which of those you are before you take the call, because it decides whether Birdeye is cheap or expensive for you, and no published rate will tell you.

What you get

Everything one AI agent handles

1

Birdeye publishes no price, and that is the finding

We read the page on 2 September 2026 and counted zero dollar figures outside customer testimonials. No tiers, no per-user rate, no starting-from number. Any article quoting you a specific Birdeye monthly price is not citing Birdeye, because Birdeye has not published one. Treat every figure you find in a listicle as somebody else negotiated outcome, not a rate you can hold Birdeye to.

2

The billing unit is the location, not the seat

Birdeye states it plainly: pricing built around outcomes, not seat counts, and pay only for what you deploy at your locations. The quote form has exactly one sizing question and it is how many locations you run. This matters enormously. If you have thirty staff at one site you are likely to do well. If you have two staff at each of forty sites, the model works against you, and that is worth knowing before the first call.

3

Six location bands tell you who Birdeye is built for

The dropdown offers 1 to 3, 4 to 9, 10 to 39, 40 to 249, 250 to 999 and 1000 or more. Three of the six bands sit above forty locations, and Birdeye highlights being number one on G2 in the Enterprise segment. The band structure is the clearest signal on the page: this is a multi-location product that also serves single sites, rather than a small business tool that scales up.

4

The form asks for your phone number, not your email

The only contact field on the Birdeye pricing form is best mobile number to reach you. That is a deliberate design. It means the price conversation happens by phone, on their timing, with a person who knows what you selected. Prepare for it the way you would prepare for a negotiation: know your location count, your must-have modules and the number you will not go above.

5

Podium removed its published prices too, in the last two weeks

We recorded Podium publishing Core at $399 and Pro at $599 on 23 August 2026. Reading podium.com/pricing again on 2 September 2026, those figures are gone. The page now reads plans designed to fit your specific business needs, talk to our sales team for details, with no tier names and no prices, and routes to a form that asks you to select your industry. Both of the two biggest names in this category now publish nothing.

6

Pay only for what you deploy means the scope is the negotiation

Birdeye sells a wide catalog: Reviews AI, Listings AI, Social AI, Search AI, Marketing Automation, Insights AI, Messaging AI, Chatbot AI, Texting, Surveys, Competitors AI, Reports AI and Ticketing. Because the quote is modular, two companies of identical size can pay very different amounts. Decide which four or five modules you will genuinely use before the call, and price those, or you will be quoted the catalog.

7

What Birdeye does not appear to meter

Nothing on the pricing page suggests a per-review, per-message, per-conversation or per-AI-resolution rate. That is a point in its favor next to Zendesk at $1.50 per automated resolution or Freshdesk at $0.49 per session, where getting better at deflection raises your bill. But absence from a page that publishes no prices at all is weak evidence, so ask the question directly and get the answer in the contract.

8

Where a flat messaging subscription fits instead

Birdeye is a reputation, listings and local marketing platform that also messages customers. If the job you are hiring for is the conversation itself, answering, qualifying, booking and following up across SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and web chat, that is a narrower product. MessageAgent is planned at a flat $79, $199 or $499 a month with no location multiplier and carrier and Meta fees passed through at cost. It is pre-launch and not yet purchasable, and you can join the waitlist today.

Common questions

Birdeye pricing questions

How much does Birdeye cost?

Birdeye does not publish a price. Reading birdeye.com/pricing on 2 September 2026, the page contains zero dollar figures apart from customer testimonials, and no plan names or tiers. Cost is quoted individually after you submit a form giving your location count and mobile number. Any specific monthly figure you find online came from a negotiated contract, not from Birdeye.

How much is Birdeye per month?

There is no published monthly rate. Birdeye prices per location rather than per seat, and sorts prospects into six bands from 1 to 3 locations up to 1000 or more before quoting. Because the quote is also modular, covering only the products you deploy, two businesses of the same size can be quoted very different monthly amounts.

What are Birdeye pricing plans?

Birdeye publishes no named plans. Unlike Thryv, which prints Starter, Signature and Amplify, the Birdeye pricing page shows no tier structure at all. It describes a single approach instead: one platform, one contract, and you pay only for the products you deploy at your locations. The scope of your contract, not a tier, is what determines your price.

Does Birdeye publish its pricing?

No. As of 2 September 2026 the pricing page publishes a positioning statement and a two-field lead form and nothing else. This puts Birdeye alongside Podium, which removed its own published prices at some point in the ten days after 23 August 2026, and in contrast to Thryv and GoHighLevel, both of which still print plan prices you can read without talking to anyone.

How much does Birdeye cost per location?

Birdeye does not publish a per-location rate, but the location is the unit it prices on. Its quote form asks only how many locations you run, and its own page says you pay for what you deploy at your locations. Expect the per-location rate to fall as you move up the six bands, which is the normal shape for this model, and ask where the band boundaries sit.

Is Birdeye worth it?

It depends heavily on your shape. Birdeye is strongest for multi-location businesses that need reviews, listings, social and local search managed consistently across sites, and it is number one on G2 in the Enterprise segment. For a single location that mostly needs to answer inbound messages and book appointments, you are buying a broad marketing platform to solve a narrow messaging problem.

Is there a Birdeye free trial?

The pricing page shows no free trial button and publishes no trial length. Every call to action routes to Get Pricing or Watch a Demo. If you want to evaluate before committing, ask for a paid pilot at one or two locations with a defined exit, since that is the realistic equivalent here. Thryv and GoHighLevel, by contrast, both put trial buttons on their pricing pages.

Does Birdeye have a free plan?

No free plan is published. Birdeye does offer free standalone tools on its site, including a brand scan and a local SEO audit, but these are lead generation instruments rather than a usable tier of the platform. There is no self-serve signup path on the pricing page and no free tier described anywhere on it.

What is Birdeye reputation management pricing?

Reputation management is sold as part of the same modular contract rather than as a separately priced product, and no rate is published for it. Reviews AI, which generates, monitors, manages and shares reviews across 200 or more sites, is one of the modules you would specify in a quote. Ask for it to be itemized so you can compare it against standalone review tools.

What is Birdeye reseller pricing?

Birdeye runs a separate reseller and partner path, linked from the pricing page as a Contact Us route distinct from the main quote form, but publishes no partner rates. Agencies should request the partner sheet explicitly rather than going through the standard form, because the direct quote is priced for an end customer and will not reflect reseller margin.

Is Birdeye cheaper than Podium?

Neither one will tell you. As of 2 September 2026 both publish zero plan prices and route to a quote form. The difference is how they segment you: Birdeye asks how many locations you run, Podium asks which industry you are in. Get both quotes, and make sure they cover the same modules, because scope rather than list price is what moves these numbers.

Is Birdeye cheaper than Thryv?

Thryv publishes $99 a month for Starter and $399 for Signature, so you can at least anchor against a real number, while Birdeye publishes nothing. For a single location, Thryv is the one you can budget for without a sales call. For forty locations, Thryv has no multi-location model to speak of and Birdeye is built for exactly that, so the comparison stops being about price.

Why does Birdeye ask for my phone number to see pricing?

Because the price is quoted by a salesperson rather than published. The form collects a location band and a mobile number, which is all the qualification needed to route you to the right rep with the right band-appropriate quote. It is worth being ready for that call rather than submitting the form casually, since the first conversation usually sets the anchor.

Does Birdeye charge per review, per message or per conversation?

No usage meter of any kind is published on the pricing page. That would make Birdeye flatter than Zendesk, which charges $1.50 per automated resolution, or Kustomer at $0.60 per engaged conversation. But since Birdeye publishes no prices at all, absence of a meter on the page is not proof there is no meter in the contract. Ask the question directly and get the answer written in.

What is Birdeye AI pricing?

Not published. Birdeye now leads its platform with BirdAI and a set of AI agents including Reviews AI, Listings AI, Social AI, Search AI, Messaging AI and Chatbot AI, and it markets Search AI as helping brands be the answer on Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity. None of these carries a published rate, so whether AI is bundled or priced as an add-on is something your quote will decide.

How do I negotiate a Birdeye contract?

Go in with three things settled: your exact location count, the specific modules you will actually use, and the number you will not exceed. Because the quote is modular and unpublished, scope is where the negotiation happens. Ask for the term length, the renewal uplift, the cost of adding a location mid-term, and whether messaging volume is metered on top of the platform fee.
