Mindbody AI Concierge pricing: which plan includes it, what it costs, and the alternatives

Mindbody does not publish a price for AI Concierge. Its own FAQ says AI Concierge "is included in the Mindbody Ultimate plan," and the plan grid on its pricing page marks it as not available on Starter, an add-on on Accelerate and included on Ultimate. None of the three plans shows a dollar figure: each card says "Let's talk." The only number on the page is "Starting at $79 USD/month per location," which is the floor for Starter, a plan that cannot run AI Concierge at all.

Every Mindbody figure here was read from mindbodyonline.com on 25 September 2026 through a US connection. That matters: the same pricing page served "Starting at €99 Euro/month per location" to a European connection on the same morning. Where a number comes from a third party, we say so.

How much does Mindbody AI Concierge cost?

There is no list price. The AI Concierge product page answers its own pricing question with "AI Concierge is included in the Mindbody Ultimate plan. Get in touch with a Mindbody team member to learn how AI Concierge can support your business and discuss pricing options." So the real cost of AI Concierge is the cost of Ultimate for each of your locations, or, on Accelerate, Accelerate plus an add-on fee Mindbody quotes on a call.

Third-party sites still circulate tier prices of $99 for Starter, $279 for Accelerate and $499 for Ultimate per month. We could not find any of those on Mindbody's current pages, and the $99 Starter figure no longer matches Mindbody's own "from $79" line for US buyers, so treat all three as out of date until a quote says otherwise.

Which Mindbody plan includes AI Concierge?

Ultimate. Here is how the pricing page grid lays out the AI and messaging rows across the three plans:

Two lines from Mindbody's FAQ fill in the rest. Texts beyond Ultimate's bundle cost "a fraction of a cent (or local equivalent) each," and "there's no setup fee on any Mindbody plan." The price rises with locations, not staff: "Your subscription price increases based on adding new locations and not adding new people to existing locations."

Is Mindbody Messenger[ai] the same as AI Concierge?

They are the same idea under two names, and both pages are still live. The older Messenger[ai] page describes an "AI front desk" that answers questions and booking requests, follows up with new clients after class, and talks to members by text, web chat and Facebook. The newer AI Concierge page, which is the one the pricing grid links to, is "powered by Playlist," Mindbody's parent company, and describes an assistant that follows up on missed calls and answers questions "through text and webchat." If a rep quotes you Messenger[ai], ask whether it is the current AI Concierge product before you sign.

What does AI Concierge do, and what does it leave out?

Its strength is that it lives inside Mindbody. According to Mindbody, it already knows your services, staff, pricing, real-time availability and client history, so it can book, reschedule and cancel classes and appointments directly in your schedule with no data import. It texts back after a missed call, answers the usual front desk questions (hours, class times, prices, cancellation policy, parking) and lets you set its tone. Mindbody claims users save an estimated 25 hours a month, based on its own in-app survey from April 2026.

The gap is channels. The current AI Concierge page names text and web chat. It does not mention Instagram DMs or WhatsApp. For a boutique studio, that is a real omission: a large share of intro-class questions arrive as Instagram DMs at night, from people who found you through a post or an ad and never visited your website. If those DMs sit until morning, the AI in your booking system never sees them.

What is a realistic budget for Mindbody with AI Concierge?

Nobody outside Mindbody's sales team can give you the number, but you can frame it. The published floor is $79 per location per month, and that buys Starter, which has no AI Concierge. Getting it means Accelerate plus an unpriced add-on, or Ultimate, the plan Mindbody itself says most businesses get "the best value from." Because the price is per location, a three-studio group pays that Ultimate figure three times.

Budget three lines that are easy to miss:

• Texting beyond the bundle. Ultimate includes a monthly text bundle and charges per text after it. Ask for the bundle size in writing.
• The Mindbody app fee. When the Mindbody consumer app delivers a brand-new client, Mindbody takes 20% of their first purchase, capped at $30. Every booking after that is commission-free.
• The contract term. Mindbody's FAQ says cancellation "depends on your plan and billing terms, including any promotions you signed up for," and may need advance notice. Get the term length before you upgrade a tier to reach one feature.

Should you upgrade to Ultimate just for AI Concierge?

Upgrade if you would use the rest of Ultimate anyway. Its email and SMS marketing, lead dashboard and advanced analytics are the things Ultimate is really priced for, and if you would pay for a separate marketing tool without them, AI Concierge comes along as a bonus that books straight into your schedule. That is a strong package for a multi-room studio with an active member base.

Think twice if AI is the only reason. A studio on Starter or Accelerate that just wants unanswered messages handled at night is being asked to buy a marketing suite to get a front desk assistant, per location, at a price it will only learn on a call. And the assistant still will not answer Instagram.

What are the alternatives to Mindbody AI Concierge?

There are three realistic routes, and which one fits depends on where your leads write to you.

2. How many texts are in Ultimate's monthly bundle, and what is the per-text rate after it?
3. Does AI Concierge answer Instagram DMs, Facebook messages or WhatsApp today, and if not, is that on a dated roadmap?
4. What is the contract term, and does the promotional price change at renewal?
5. Is the product I am buying AI Concierge or the older Messenger[ai], and is there a separate fee for either?
